On April 1st 2020, the Chief Medical Officers of England, Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland, and the National Medical Director Stephen Powis signed a message sent to their NHS colleagues to ask that every effort was made to enroll COVID-19 patients in the national priority clinical trials.

Those trials were:
PRINCIPLE (higher risk patients in primary care trial).
RECOVERY (in hospital trial)
REMAP-CAP (critically ill patient trial)
Hydroxychloroquine was one of the drugs being trialled. In the RECOVERY Trial and the REMAP-CAP Trial they used an extremely high and potentially lethal dose: 800 mg at 0 and 6 hours followed by 400 mg at 12 hours and then every 12 hours for up to nine additional days. A patient was therefore given 2,400 mg in the first 24 hours of treatment.
According to David Jayne, professor of clinical autoimmunity at Cambridge University:
“Hydroxychloroquine overdose is associated with cardiovascular, neurological, and other toxicities, occurring with doses over 1500 mg, and higher doses are associated with fatality.”
In an article for the BMJ found here co-head of the Recovery Trial Martin Landray explained:
“The dose comes from modelling by Nick White, professor of tropical medicine at the University of Oxford, and his team, who have extensive experience with this drug.”
Sir Nicholas White was involved in the WHO’s “Informal consultation on the potential role of chloroquine in the clinical management of COVID 19 infection” on March 13th. Also present were 5 “Experts” affiliated with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The WHO’s SOLIDARITY Trial used the same dose for hydroxychloroquine as the RECOVERY & REMAP-CAP Trials.
Chinese scientists had already recommended a much lower and safer dose on March 9th 2020:
“a loading dose of 400 mg twice daily of hydroxychloroquine sulfate given orally, followed by a maintenance dose of 200 mg given twice daily for 4 days is recommended for SARS-CoV-2 infection”
The RECOVERY trial enrolled it’s first patient on March 19th (see from 9th minute onwards):
The REMAP-CAP Trial was a global trial that had a very large number of participating sites in England:

The largest clusters of participating sites for the REMAP-CAP trial were in London, the West Midlands and the North West. According to the Financial Times these regions saw the largest increases in excess deaths in Spring 2020:
There is a genetic disorder known as G6PD deficiency. G6PDd is prevalent in parts of the world where malaria is endemic such as Sub-Saharan Africa. Hydroxychloroquine is a more dangerous drug for people with G6PDd.
The German physician Wolfgang Wodarg wrote to the British Medical Journal offering an explanation for the overrepresentation of ethnic minorities among patients and medical staff in COVID-19 death statistics:
“I think one of the possible reasons for more Covid-19 victims among patients and medical staff with ancestors from malaria countries could be the widespread use of chloroquine (cq) and hydroxychloroquine (hcq) for therapy and for prophylactic indications with patients with a G6PD-deficiency.”
“Black people four times more likely to die from Covid-19, ONS finds”
In an interview with Vinay Prasad one of the world’s top epidemiologists John Ioannidis stated the following about the mistakes made in the “First Wave”:
“… probably we killed about 100,000 people just with hydroxychloroquine as treatment globally”

Torsten Engelbrecht and Claus Köhnlein, MD (Co-Authors of the book “Virus Mania”) believe it could have been much higher:
The first official COVID-19 death was Peter Attwood in January 2020. He was admitted to hospital with a bad cough on January 7th. The virus – said to be more transmissible and more lethal than the flu – was therefore in the UK as far back as December if not earlier.
There were no excess deaths in the UK in January or February. Excess deaths only began in mid-late March coinciding with:
1. The implementation of Lockdown
2. The discharging of patients (who hadn’t fully recovered) out of hospitals (where you’re most likely to pick up an infection) into care homes (where the most vulnerable people are)
3. The trials in which extremely high and potentially lethal doses of hydroxychloroquine were being administered

Much more likely is: during the early days of the pandemic people were floundering and desperate. 2400mg over 24 hours is not the same as a single dose of 2400mg. During the spanish flu, docs ladelled out asparin, only much later finding out it probably did more harm than good.

Just to clarify. Most of this article is from a comment I left in response to the article on midazolam. The headline from which you have quoted has nothing whatsoever to do with me. I am not affiliated with Daily Expose and am surprised my comment was turned into an article and somewhat aghast that such a headline was used with it. I certainly made no allegations of what Whitty’s intentions were. I’d have preferred it if Daily Expose took the info I laid out in the comments section and did their own piece with any extra info they themselves found out rather than take my comment and add this headline which I don’t like my name being under.
I wrote this (but certainly not the headline!) as a comment on the article about midazolam. I wasn’t expecting it to be turned into an article (I don’t write for The Daily Expose) and I’m not happy about my name being anywhere near a headline that says Whitty gave an order to kill people (why do you have to sensationalize things like that?). My point was simply that hydroxychloroquine was given in a very high dose in two trials (and others) back in April and that Ioannidis, Kohnlein and Wodarg have spoken/written about this and its possible role in the excess deaths. I have no idea what Whitty’s intentions were or whether he was even aware of the dose being used. The only thing I know is that he signed the message asking the NHS to enrol patients in those trials. Questions need to be asked about what went on in these trials but the idea Whitty gave an order with the intention to kill patients is not a claim I ever made.

Azithromycin is an antibiotic.
It’s widely used to treat chest infections such as pneumonia, infections of the nose and throat such as sinus infections, skin infections, Lyme Disease, and some STD’s.
Azithromycin is used in children, often to treat ear infections or chest infections.
It can also be used long term to prevent chest infections in people who keep getting them.
The medicine is available on prescription as capsules, tablets and a liquid that you drink. It can also be given by injection, but this is usually only done in hospital.
How many people have been given this combination who have then died as a result I wonder?

I have been following for more than a year all the research and results of prof Didier Raoult in his teaching hospital in Marseilles IHU and how horrified he has been with the utter scandal of the recovery trials and the Lancet report and as a consequence he has been persecuted by big pharma ever since. He was having so much success with his early protocol using far smaller non dangerous doses and a year on as progress was also made with high flow oxygen and other drugs re coagulation etc…due to other international research.
A year on, after treating 25000 patients both hospitalised or day outpatients as unlike the orders given by all government to doctors not to treat patients but for them to ring 101 if feeling bad ( by then far too late he says and was an utter crime) the current results coming from his research hospital they have saved 33% patients more than anywhere else in France and so have all the French speaking African countries who followed his very early protocol with hydrochloroquine and that antibiotic . It does not cure anything but it reduces extensively the viral load as a very early treatment. They also quickly discovered that all Covid patients were very short of Zinc.
They experimented a bit with the very toxic remdesivir on a few patients and quickly realised that it quickly created variants and mutations of the virus retesting dead patients and stopped immediately.
Now the use of avermectin sounds very promising combined with statin according to the latest American research.

Rubbish, HCQ has saved tens of thousands especially in Africa but not South Africa which banned it`s use for covid.
But were they given overdoses? Obviously not if they survived. This article is suggesting lethal overdoses of it may have been given.
The correct dose of an over the counter pain killer will get rid of a headache but a lethal overdose of it will kill. Same with most drugs.

I am just sickened by the way some of us call ourselves human with such compassion yet the very nature of being human is that we have such diversity and with that can commit such harm to the most vulnerable.
